About Us
American Legion Post 82 in Nashville is Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, Coast Guard, Space Force, National Guard, Reserve, active duty, retiree, single-enlistment, and both combat and peacetime veterans. Our members have served in every United States conflict since World War I.
We're a veteran service organization building a family of veterans, descendants of veterans, and others who seek to serve something bigger than ourselves and enjoy the camaraderie of that service along the way. We're a nonprofit helping to heal our American warfighters.
You'll find a lot of music at our post because it's universal, across generations, demographics, and genres. As long as music continues to draw veterans to our post, we'll continue to embrace it.
